Dr Marie Therese Lonergan
GP
Dr. Maire Therese Lonergan graduated from Trinity College Medical school in 2003 before going on to spend several years working in general medicine in various Dublin teaching hospitals and attained her MRCPI. She completed her vocational GP training through the North Dublin City GP training programme. This programme has an emphasis on working in areas of deprivation and during this time Dr. Lonergan spent time working with the homeless, in addiction services as well as the prison service. She attained her MICGP in 2014.
Dr. Lonergan joined the practice in 2015 and became a partner in January, 2020. Her areas of special interest are geriatric medicine, women and child health and working with marginalised groups. Dr. Lonergan was appointed as a GP trainer on the Midlands GP training programme in 2021.
