Marie Boland

Marie qualified from Beaumont Hospital where she gained experience in care of the elderly and orthopaedic trauma and surgery. She then gained further experience in Australia and Naas General Hospital.

Marie completed a Higher Diploma in Sick Children's Nursing at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin in conjunction with UCD. Following this, Marie worked for the HSE's Children in Care Programme with the Community Autism Services in Carlow and Kilkenny. She also worked with the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland in their Day Centre in Co. Kildare.

Marie joined the Barrowview Medical Practice team in 2020 and her areas of special interest are Care of the Elderly, Children's Healthcare and Health Promotion.
